Korean Medicine Clinical Effects on Atopic Dermatitis of 12 Children in Farm Village - Effects of Korean Medicine Clinical Therapy of Liver for Atopic Dermatitis -

Abstract

|
Objectives : This study was fulfilled in order to support the hypothesis which atopic dermatitis can be treated better by therapy of liver rather than of spleen and stomach from the view point of Korean Medicine, or not.
Methods : From October to December in 2013, 12 children from elementary school participated in this therapy and prevention program. We divided into 3 degrees, for example, light, moderate, and severe symptoms. They were treated by 3 step therapy consisted of detoxification, treatment, and supplement to both Qi and blood.
Results : After 3 months of therapy, we discovered that their symptoms had been improved to 11 among 12 children(91.7%).
Conclusions : From the result, we verified the hypothesis atopic dermatitis can be treated better by therapy of liver rather than of spleen and stomach in Korean Medicine.
